Why Mike? Why why why????!!!!

This bums me out something fierce.

At least we can assume the Mythbusters are on the right side.

Ugh, I hate finding out when stars do things like this. It can't help but color my opinion of them from then on.

I wouldn't put your bets on Jamie, personally. Couldn't tell you why, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that he is a Republican.

Well they did do the episode with the President, so on that basis, I'm thinking they're cool with him.

Major suckitude. I love Mike's voice so much. Hope I'll still be able to use Dirty Jobs eps to sleep to.

I saw a clip from that event...thanks to Ed Schultz, actually. Ed must be a fan...he said that someone who cares that much for the working man "Is on the wrong stage" talking with a man like Romney. (I would agree)
Because Mike gave, if he were a pol, what I'd guess we'd call his "stump speech" about forgotten jobs and the decline in vocational and technical education and other things Mitt Romney could not give a fiddler's fart for. He was good.Ann must be wondering what that tingle in her belly is. Contrary to my blog-inspired bravado, I doubt I'll be able to completely remove him from my spank bank, but maybe he doesn't get such a good timeslot any more. Maybe I'll move up Bill Maher or Chris Hayes.

I almost feel like one of the Wing-nuts going ballistic when they find out that a celebrity they like is a liberal, and then immediately denouncing them for making a political statement, re-asserting the canard that the Dixie Chicks completely ruined their careers and usually throwing in some version of "shut up and sing." (Which of course would be difficult to do at the same time.)

It is kind of stump speech for Mike. I think he said about the same thing (minus the Romney shilling) at the TED talks.

I don't think Mike Rowe is an idiot, so I'm really not sure what makes him think that Mitt Romney is any friend of the working man.

Definitely not an idiot.
Yeah, I know, Kossacks calling for a Ford Boycott are a bit OTT, in my view.
Still, disappointing.

Arrrgghhh! That plays into the wing-nut meme that the left are the intolerant ones. Bugger all!

Commenters talk shit.
Mike might be kind of a political idiot, though. I was too, once, though it was always left-flavored.
I've learned a lot over the years...I still hold out hope for a man that knows that much Shakespeare well enough to recite.
