RIP Elaine Stritch

Another one I missed while I was in my Vacation Bubble, although I did have her on my Ipod while I was doing on of my early-AM try and beat the heat training runs.

Elaine Stritch dies at 89; Broadway actress had blue-collar attitude

The Village Players of Birmingham Michigan did "Company" this season and invited Elaine to watch the show. She came and met with the cast in the green room. she was lovely.
Our actress who played the Joanne part nailed the "Laddies Who Lunch" during the performance that Elaine saw.
I will try to find all the stuff and post it for you.

Re: found it!
Brilliant! Thank you. She was an amazing lady. Incredible life and career. We'd should all grow up to be that old and ballsy!

I paid full price for an orchestra aisle seat down front to see her Broadway solo show. She was a.ma.zing.

ETA: Great photo, even with those strange boobs.

I wanted to find a nice "glamour" shot of her from the younger days. It seems that she was in "old broad" mode for a really long time.

RIP - I really only knew her from 30 Rock, but I loved her as Jack's mother on that.

That part played amazingly well into her persona.
