Positivity meme

Ganked from alba17

Rules: During the next five days, post three positive things about your day and ask three people to do the same so the positive attitude can gain some ground.

(I know what you're thinking....where is K-gal and what have you done with her, but honestly, I'm so happy lately I don't even recognize myself.)

1. I made a pumpkin smoothie this AM. OMG! Amazing!

2. During virtual training today, one of the assignments was to create an ad, using Powerpoint to create the visuals...luckily I had Allen, the Ridley Scott of PPT on my team, and naturally I did the balance of the scripting AND the background singing.

3. I tried on my interview suit...it fits perfect. This means that I'm still (or back to) a size 8, no matter what my crazy brain tries to tell me when I look down and see the pooch.

If you're still reading me and you're so inclined, consider yourself tagged.

Pumpkin smoothie?? That sounds interesting. Recipe, please?

PPT... as much as I like it, I haven't mastered the Title slides..

Trying to lose 30 lbs to get back down to an 8 myself, so good for you! :)

Dittoing the request for the pumpkin smoothie recipe - curious what's in it. Yay for being happy!

Yay to all the things! Pumpkin smoothie recipe request, ditto.

Glad you fit into your interview suit. Body dysmorphia makes us think crazy things. Whenever I'm convinced (by my body image) that I've gained weight, I've invariably lost it.

I suspect that with everything else going so well and my esteem getting lots of positive validation through my work, for a change, my disease is attacking me through the last real vulnerability food/weight/body image.

You know, I should try reading my friends list more often. I completely missed your life transition! Congratulations on getting the hell out of the Desk of Doom. I had no idea Ex-Co-Worker quit and I can't believe he just walked out, snap, like that. My god. I am so glad I left when I did. Six years ago next month is when I came to work and found everyone packing, with me being told I would be a permanent floater, no more own office, and no, there wouldn't be any pay compensation for doing all those other agents' work. BYE BITCH.

It's going to be great. I am so happy for you.

I can't believe it's been SIX years and that I put up with that hellacious BULLSHIT as long as I did after that. Everyday that I'm in training with Amex and people go out of their way to make me feel appreciated is like a revelation. Who, me? We need to get together...have a nice brunch a good long chat and congratulate ourselves for getting the hell out, even though it took me so much longer...on the other hand, this job only became a possibility this year, so...who knows.

I would love to get together! I work most weekends, though, so maybe not brunch...but definitely somewhere with food (Paleo-friendly), booze and much gossip. It's hard to walk away when you've stopped believing in yourself. I didn't have any problem with that, they made it easy for me by offering me a raw deal, but I've been through it and stayed too long. So happy you're in a better environment!
