They're showing The Long Goodbye at the Roxie tonight

Part of an Altman festival. I'd love to see it, especially a big screen (although at the Roxie it's not THAT big) but I'm just too lazy and tired and out of it and blah blah blah. Maybe I'll put it on Netflix queue. Last time I saw it, I wasn't ready. I was expected more noir and less Altman, and thought it would be just a slightly updated version of Marlowe. I think I'm more grown-up now and I'll appreciate it more.

Frankly if I get the notebook open and get any of the Novel transcribed onto the laptop, that's going to be my criteria of a successful evening, as opposed to last night where it all went down the drain playing Scrabble.
