Jack and the Teetotaller TW100 drabble Jack/OFC Rating-G

Title:Jack and the Teetotaller
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/OFC
Rating: G
Wordcount: 100
Notes: Written for tw100, Challenge 170-Squash. Unbeta'ed.
Summary: The story behind one of Jack's keepsakes.

Melissa Fairbairn was a stunningly beautiful woman, a ruthless alien hunter and a member of the Lancashire Temperance Society.

She had no interest in joining up with Torchwood, feeling their motives insufficiently pure and she would most certainly not join Captain Harkness for any kind of alcoholic beverage. Rather, she chose to hold him at bay over endless carafes of orange squash at Fitzpatrick’s Herbal Health bar, leaving Jack feeling as tipsy as if he’d been guzzling hyper-vodka.

His mission was a complete failure, but Jack took a bottle back to Cardiff as a memento.

Like Melissa, it remained untouched.
