I was also slammed with such bullshit as researching hotels by the beach so that one of the lawyers could take her daughter to LA with her, the admin who plays the "Oh, I don't know anything about travel" card EVERY FUCKING TIME she books, and my favorite of the day, the chick who called from the rental location in NYC shocked that they wouldn't let her rent a car using her debit card.
NOT A GOOD DAY PEOPLE--It was one of those days that reminded me that I love House so much because I have to deal with idiots all day and House gets to say things to idiots that I only wish I could say.

I did 6 very slow miles this morning. I wasn't really up for it, but tomorrow is the SF Marathon (which I'm not doing) and the race route is my running route so I'll go out tomorrow and hopefully see the really fast people running by.
We went to Maverick for brunch, where they're still asking what kind of water they can start me with.
My big excursion of the day was the trip to Ameoba which is the most awesome used/new record/DVD store located up on Haight Street near the park. I have procurred the Dr. Who Series 1, Volume 3 & 4 DVD's. I'M SO FREAKING PSYCHED!!!!!!!! But will have to wait until the hubby coast is clear, so I should be able to have my first Capt. Jack sighting Monday night, but will advise via loud Squeeeeee-ing if it happens sooner.
In the meantime, hubby bought the first three Harry Potter movies which should make good background noise as I work on the all the fic in progress, including still trying to finish the RPS.
One of the functions of a good beta is to tell you that the story you thought was finished, wasn't. Hence, more RPS to write.
