Day 25 - Something that you wish happened but didn’t
OK, don't all freak out. It would have been utterly and totally fucked up, left both characters in worse shape, and it could have been hot as hell. Let's face it, the chemistry WAS there both with Hugh and Jen and between the characters, regardless of Hugh's personal reservations.
If (and I know it's a big IF) they'd been able to write it in character, I think it would have made 100% times more sense than EITHER the Chase/Cameron friends with benefits scenario or the Stalker-Chase ARC that happened afterwards AND then it could have made a bit more sense for Cameron to leave at the end of Season 3, following a nice devastating break-up scene.
I know this is heretical from a House/Wilson shipper, but I think the H/W angst to come out of a full-blown House/Cameron affair in Season 3, would be WAY more intense than the passive-aggressive, cheer-leader BS that they've given Wilson in relation to the House/Cuddy "relationship."
Sure, we'd all love a canon House/Wilson, but in spite of Hugh's joking during the Actor's Studio interview, that was never going to happen, even when the writers had any sense of what they were doing and now that everything's gone to hell in a bucket, I don't want them anywhere near it.
