Question for my experienced world travelers

I need some advice for a client who is doing personal travel.

Passenger is traveling to Serbia…(but that’s not what I need the opinion on.)

Options for flights are between connection in Frankfurt on Lufthansa or connection in Paris on Air France.

He’s been told that CDG is a “zoo” and that he should not connect there, but suspects the person who told him that may just have issues with all things French.

Air Fare being more or less equal (and client willing to pay slightly more for better travel experience) would you connect via Charles De Gaulle or Frankfurt?
