First of all: IT'S FLEET WEEK! Helllloooo, Sailors! Air shows, Navy tours and ship parades, along with the Blue Angels buzzing around annoying everybody and spending tax dollars.
Today we also had the SF Double 10 Parade, noting the national day of The Republic of China.
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival Music fans-read the line-up and WEEP!!!
Italian Heritage Day I know NYC does a pretty good Columbus Day, but this is billed as the national oldest Italian American Parade.
Castro Street Fair In case the Folsom Street Fair was a bit much for your delicate sensibillities, this is a tad less over-the-top. But still plenty of drinking, dancing and drag-queens.
The SF Independent Documentary Fest continues.
And if you need a little more culture, you can go to SF MOMA for Joseph Cornell: Navigating the Imagination. www.sfmoma.org
But of course the most important thing is that tomorrow is HAIR DAY!!!!
(And the second most important thing is that I'm watching Small Worlds right now.)
