OK, so I've just gotten sort of kind of comfortable with Windows Live Photo Gallery for doing editing and stuff on my pictures. In the last two days, all of a sudden, when I do any kind of editing, including re-naming a picture...it disappears. And I can't find it anywhere. It's not saving it. It's just making it disappear. It's not like it's offering me an option to save and I'm declining. Before I would just close the file and it would save it with the changes and new names. Now I do the changes, close the file...and it disappears. Any thoughts on this? ETA: evila_elf to the rescue!
