Summary: The Doctor made it better...and so much worse.
Since the Doctor and Amy left, Vincent’s world felt both brighter and yet somehow bleaker.
He did his best to hold on to the vision the Doctor had shown him; his work being valued, appreciated, loved. Some days he felt as though he could finally get the colours he saw onto the canvas. He painted in a frenzy, full of the passion of his younger days.
Then the monsters came back leaving him unable to think of anything but permutations of red.
The red of blood, of wine, and the fleeting love he’d felt for a ginger girl named Amy.
