"Same Situation" House MD drabble House/Wilson Rating-PG

Title: Same Situation
Fandom: House MD
Pairing: House/Wilson
Rating: PG
Wordcount: 100
Notes: Drabble-a-Day 2011. Day 298. Song title prompt from sakinow: Forgive Me. Unbeta'd. Comments and concrit welcome. Post-ep for Insensitive.
Summary: House isn't the only one who suffers.

The pain was getting worse.

House wasn’t talking about it, but Wilson could tell. He knew House’s body almost as well as his own, including House’s reactions to both pain and pleasure. He saw the slowness in House’s walk and heard the extra grunts and groans it took for him to get out of bed in the morning.

It was too bad that House had let himself hope while treating Hannah Morganthal. The dream of pain-free cells had put a skip in House’s limp until Wilson butted in, but House would forgive him eventually.

The hard part was forgiving himself.
