Book & CD give-away!
Hubby and I are desperately trying to de-clutter and I'm not doing a great job of getting rid of my books. Yes, I can just take bags to the thrift store, but I'm pretty much physically incapable of throwing a book away. Even a pretty beat-up paper back that I know I'm never going to read again. I also have a lot of CD's that could go to good homes, and save me the embarrassment of having some hipster at Amoeba paw through my stack, only to offer me a pittance, and no doubt cast judgement on my musical taste.
Here's the deal: If you're interested, you can leave your address in a screened comment and tell me if you'd prefer a CD or a book. I will absorb the cost of postage and I will decide what you get. F/Y/I-MOST of my books are non-fiction, but not all. I will take requests through the end of November and start sending out the goodies in December.
I've also got a LOT of cassettes, and throwing those out makes me even crazier, because of the land fill issue. Anybody who'd like up to five cassettes, please let me know how many and I'll throw those in as well.

1. I'm probably going to start getting packages out as early as next week to avoid December post-office craziness.
