"Plenty Implied" White Collar drabble Rating-PG13 Neal/Sara

Title: Plenty Implied
Fandom: White Collar
Pairing: Neal/Sara
Wordcount: 100
Warnings: Possible triggering for implied date-rate or dub-con.
Notes: Drabble-a-Day 2011. Day 336. Prompt from whitecollar100. Challenge #74-Cold. Inspired by on-line discussions of the lyrics to Baby, It's Cold Outside by Frank Loesser. Beta'd by hllangel. Comments and concrit welcome.
Summary: It's going to be a long winter.

Maybe inviting Sara over to June’s for a holiday get together wasn’t the best idea in the world, but had to do something. He and June had rehearsed their duet for weeks, and Neal thought it sounded pretty good.

Sara’s horrified expression said otherwise.

“That bad?” he asked, with a grin.

“Think about it. She says ‘no’ and he keeps pushing, pouring booze, conning her. You don’t see anything wrong with that?”

“It’s just a song,” Neal pointed out.

“Not to me.”

And she was gone, leaving Neal to consider his next move.

He’d just have to try something else.
