"Silver" RPF Martin Sheen/William Devane Rating-PG13

Title: Silver
Fandom: RPF Missiles of October/West Wing
Pairing: Martin Sheen/William Devane
Rating: PG13
Wordcount: 100
Notes: Drabble-a-Day 2011. Day 340. Written for joanne_c, who wanted some William Devane RPF. Unbeta'd. Comments and concrit welcome.
Summary: Ask not what you can do for your co-star.

“You’re lookin’ good Marty.”

“You too, Bill.”

It’s not quite a lie, he supposes. They don’t look bad for two old geezers. And they’re still working. In this town that’s saying a lot.

Sorkin is acting positively star-struck at the sight of Jack and Bobby together again.

A little nostalgia might be in order, but some memories need to stay tightly under wraps. Too much Scotch for him; too much reefer for Marty. History. Ancient history.

The scene starts and William looks into Marty’s eyes, remembering exactly how much chemistry they’d had together onscreen and off.

Some things haven’t changed.
