OK, the "Angels" stuff was cute, and I like the old guy being Bosley, but the entire Cut-throat Bitch/Cammerclone thing was working my last good gay nerve. The CTB was pissing me off so much I was tempted to root for CC, but that was an untenable position as well. Frankly, they could both go off a cliff and I wouldn't mind in the least.
Did anyone really NOT figure out that CTB was trying to gaslight CC by the time the leash showed up?
The actress playing PoTW, has the fabulous name of Azure Skye and an extensive IMDB listing of things I've never seen, but still looked incredibly familiar. http://imdb.com/name/nm0005439/
One Wilson scene???? WTF! And a fairly useless one. Yeah, we get it. House holes up in Wilson's office. Everything is fine and dandy and their shagging like crazy at home or in the janitor's closet or what-ever, but...at least a hint of banter or a reminder that they went through hell recently, or something, please.
One Chase scene, and if it weren't for the accent, we'd never know.
WAY TOO MUCH FOREMAN. OK-that was serious bullshit and bad, bad, writing/directing. It could have been done as a montage of the different interviews, or something else. Clearly they didn't have enough plot on the medical side to keep things going, so this was all padding to get to Foreman Returns. I want to like Foreman, really I do, but putting him in this subservient, downtrodden position is not the way to do it.
Also, apparently Cuddy is smoking crack with the monkeys doing the writing.
"House always respected you." Bullshit. That is bullshit, Cuddy. House NEVER respected him. IMAO. Maybe he started to respect Chase towards the end, and even that's a stretch. Foreman? No way. His treatment of him in the resignation arc, especially the one where he leaves him running the tests after he's got the solution shows me that.
WAY TOO MUCH CAMERON-The first scene had a bit of a spark, although why the hell House would indulge Cameron like this is beyond me, even for a frappucino with whip. He knows this is gonna encourage her. Making bets? More important, LOSING BETS?
He lost the Wilson/Nurse Wendy bet only because of Foreman's (ahem) insider info. To make and lose this kind of a bet with Cameron? I don't think so. It means either House is encouraging her to crush on him because he misses it, or the writers are encouraging the House/Cam continegent to believe something still might happen, which falls right into my Paranoid Bitching of a Paranoid Bitch delusions that House/Cam IS still end-game no matter what has been spoiled, bandied about, etc for this season.
Her Wilson envy was very apparent, by the way. Again, still selling her as a viable person in House's life means she HAS to eventually supplant Wilson. Because otherwise the relationship because a mirror of a Wilson/Wife relationship where House always comes first.
Big Love-House used that already. I hate when they make him repeat himself. I'm not crazy about the character because really, there's no character there. Just the monkeys saying "Hey, how about a black Mormon for House to abuse."
BUT he did get points for "Shut up and give me a rose."
I'll miss old guy, but what's up with..."If you want to hang out." "I know, call Wilson." HUH? Is Wilson making play-dates now? Is House actually "hanging out" with both of them? Is there H/W/Old Guy threesome fic in the works?
And Jen...honey...you don't have a Lise E. type butt, so your attempt to wiggle away from the camera was just embarrassing for all of us.
Good night and good luck.
