I've loved him, hated him, loved him again, and then just felt sad when I knew he was nearing the end. I might write something lengthy a bit later, but for now, I'll just say that I'll miss his work and I'm so proud he held up his avowed atheism to the end when it would have been so tempting to do otherwise.
