Summary: A Tale of Two Christmases
Alice and Emily insisted that he attend Christmas dinner. A well-stuffed goose, family members, and the pieties and hypocrisy of the era. No need to mention that his Saviour traveled in a blue box. Harder to play along with the lie that Alice and Emily were nothing more than “dear friends.”
