WAY MORE!!!! Even though I knew I wanted to do mmom, I still think 123 (including drabbles) is a lot. However I'm disappointed that I didn't complete any original fiction until very late in the year. I tried to start a novel and pretty much stopped after two days.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2007?
I was obnoxiously adamant that I didn't need another fandom in my life until I actually saw a picture of John Barrowman as Captain Jack and the rest is history.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
People and Things
Falling in love with Captain Jack was a happy surprise this year and being able to slash him with Greg House was a gift. I had a lot of fun working on this one and was really happy with the result.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
I don't think.
Maybe expanding into other POVs in the RPS series. First Stephen and Ethan in Friends & Lovers and then Gaby in Collision Course .
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I have a very very dark Jeeves&Wooster in progress since LAST January and a few others still in various stages of percolation.
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe:
Teacher's Pet written for mmom based on John Saxon's character in Enter the Dragon.
The Morning After
Crack!fic conversation between John Barrowman and Captain Jack Harkness.
Not being nominated for housefic_meta Hall of Fame.
Use Your Illusion because hot talk is a major kink for me and Wilson/Chase is such a guilty pleasure.
Story with a Single Sexy Moment:
Collision Course . I really, really like stalker!Hugh standing by Bobby's house in Venice, waiting for Gaby to leave and showing up at the door.
Hardest to Write:
Putting It To The Test
House MD/Mythbusters crossover written for betteronvicodin.
It sounded like it would be so easy, but getting the two worlds to work together was nearly impossible.
Most unintentionally telling:
The entire LJ divorce story is right there.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
Something about The Daily Show RPS brings out the wrong in me, because the runner up is Reach Out where I commit many sins including invoking Bob Costas.
