So far one pretty good week of modified paleo/primal. The dairy is gone, (used up the last of Laughing Cow and skim milk) but I need that 1/4 cup of brown rice or quinoa for any kind of cardio as I've learned the hard way. I've taken back nuts and avocado. 1/4 cup only but the caloric Rain Man in my head is horrified. On the other hand, no more butter (even the "lite" kind or 21 calorie dollops of parmesan) and with the help of Sir Speedy (as I call the Hydroxycut) I'm hitting the gym or the bike a 1/2 hour earlier. Not sure it's doing much else, but that might be enough.
I THINK it's coming together well, but staying off for the whole week is going to be a bit of torture. However, Peggy hasn't steered me wrong yet and the peanut butter thing IS helping with the night eating....although I'm still taking a lot of hot baths at 3:00AM to fend it off as well.
All this just to get the last few pounds off.
