As in fucking miserable!
Especially for the Bay Area. A pox in any and all climate change deniers. Meanwhile we finished up Peter Capaldi's first series as the Doctor last night.
I still found Kill The Moon to be heinous bullshit and I'm not backing down on it being a blatant anti-choice message. However, I was able to let it go enough to enjoy the rest of the series immensely. Getting Frank Skinner and an obvious George Formby shoutout in the next episode helped a lot.
I'm also willing to entertain the notion that even though he didn't write it, Moff was using Kill The Moon to critique the worst of RTD's excesses with Ten in Waters of Mars.
The season finale was honestly awesome. I totally love Missy, nearly squeed at the sight of Chris Addison and was genuinely moved by Danny's ending. The Brig touch was nice, although I don't really know that era of Who very well.
I'm grateful I was able to get over myself enough to give it a second chance. I'll get the next one on Netflix ASAP.
