Hubby is getting back on the bike today.

OK, technically he did it about two weeks ago, because he actually had to get the thing to the shop because it was in pretty bad shape from going down over six months ago.

Now it's all repaired, and he's going to pick it up, buy a new helmet and drive it home.

He's not tired, hungry or pissed off or in hurry to get anywhere.

On the other hand, the skies are looking pretty gloomy and it could start pouring rain at any minute.

He went through a long emotional process making the decision that this is how he gets around and part of how he indentifies himself and I can't argue with that.

I'm just at little edgy about the whole thing.

And it's going to be quite awhile before I'll feel comfortable enough to get on the bike with him again.

I guess this is the end or at least the beginning of the end of the accident saga.

This is good news and bad news. I love to win awards of any kind. Voting is STILL OPEN at Children of Time. The bad news is that Supporting Actor/Actress can be a total career-killer.

Oh well, my moment of glory before the inevitable descent into obscurity. Sounds like my literary career. (LOL!)

It does kind of sound like me. Note that third point.

You Would Win Best Supporting Actor / Actress

You are a quirky, fascinating person. You understand the world well.

There's no one quite like you. Your uniqueness leaves a strong impression on people.

You are bold and willing to take risks. People may love or hate you, but at least they'll notice you.

You are just different enough to make a great character actor. You can make a smaller part come alive.

Song Lyric Prompt-a-Day 2009 Day 52

Prompts can be used for any fandom/pairing, or even original fic, if you like. (Yes, any.) All I ask is that you credit me with providing the prompt and comment with a link to the entry.

Prompt #52

Let’s get lost, lost in each other’s arms
Let’s get lost, let them send out alarms
And though they’ll think us rather rude
Let’s tell the world we’re in that crazy mood.
