Prompts can be used for any fandom, pairing, or even original fic, if you like. (Yes, any.) All I ask is that you credit me with providing the prompt and comment with a link to the entry.

Prompt #172

They're fabricating outlaws
Caught up in the façade
Swallowed by the barrage
Follow me to Carthage

Follow Me To Carthage-The Mammals
Written by Mike Merenda

Dog-spotting and other things....

I got out and did an hour and a half around Dolores Park. I spotted two Chinese Crested dogs, which are kind of ugly. Those hairless spotted things. But then later on when we went to brunch, I saw a Pharaoh Hound, which was absolutely beautiful. I'm pretty sure it's the first one I've ever seen in the flesh.

Hubby did some shopping at Imagiknit and we both had the English Breakfast Service with the shitake mushroom quiche, which was absolutely divine.

When we got a cab home, it turned out to be driven by an old friend of ours named Mike who we haven't seen for years and years who spent the ten minute ride trying to get us caught up on his life since we last saw him.

MSNBC---I love you guys, but DUDES!!! All hell is breaking lose in Iran. Get a crew into the studio and monitor the Tweets just like everybody else. Come on, FOX news is doing a better job than you are because at least they're ON THE AIR. MSNBC is showing their usual weekend crapola.
WTF?????

I hope Keith or Rachel mentions something about this on Monday.

From last night:

President Obama Radio & TV Correspondents' Dinner
Not as good as his routine at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but pretty good stuff. And the tuxedo.

John Hodgman at Radio & TV Correspondents' Dinner
Nerdy adorability at its finest.
