30 Days of Movies Meme

Ganked from speccygeekgrrl

NOTE: I screwed up yesterday's post. Left off a > and a bunch of stuff got lost. It's now available behind a cut. Possibly triggering, but of interest in explaining WHY The Night Porter is a guilty pleasure. So here's the fixed up version. Click on the cut at your own risk.

Slings & Arrows/Life On Mars crossover

An Entrance Somewhere Else by Petra

This is absolutely awesome mixing two great fandoms into one great story. Geoffrey finds himself in Manchester 1973, to help out our favorite coppers. Even if you only know one of the fandoms, this is still a fabulously well-written story.

Worked out again with Peggy

Reinforcing my core routine and trying to establish some stretching and muscle release with the roller. God that thing hurts, even when you know it's good for you. Peggy also helped me a lot with my form and reminded me of all things I'd been doing without really focusing on the body parts I needed to...like squeezing and raising the old buttisimo rather than letting it hang there.

She's an amazing trainer, but never a bitch or evil. Great attitude and lots of fun. If anyone in SF or the Bay Area is looking for some personal training on a reasonable scale, let me know and I'll give you contact info.

And tomorrow we're going to meet up and just go for a walk on the Embarcadero, which will be nice. We see each other during training and at the Mint, but it's rare for us to just have hang-out time without the music or something else going on.

Speaking of the Mint---just back a from a few hours there after walking hubby part way to work. Mostly hung out with Brendan, Daddy Dave and Yanni! Thanks to my contacts in the UK, I've now got a new karaoke disc with a bunch of stuff you CANNOT get here in the US including Bryan Ferry's version of A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall and Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division. Thank you Madame X for making it all possible.
