RIP Judith Crist
Judith Crist, a Blunt and Influential Film Critic, Dies at 90
I'm a little late, but it's worth noting, since we also said good-bye to Andrew Sarris just back in June.
Judith Crist may have been one of the first film critics I ever read because my parents had "The Private Eye, The Cowboy and the Very Naked Girl" and I was probably titillated by the word "naked." (I also read Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and I Lost It At The Movies by Pauline Kael.)
I'd imagine that Judith, Pauline, and Andrew are having some very heated film discussions in their private screening room in the sky.
