I SOLD SMUT!!!
Not very good in my opinion, or terribly lucrative (15 pounds before tax, if I ever get it) but damnit, I did it. Basically I used a chapter from my unsold (unlamented) West Hollywood book and restructured it to meet the submission guidelines. 
beta_goddess helped me hammer into shape and I still thought in a million years they'd never take it, most because it was a little "karaokegal-esque" in terms of combining humor with porn, which isn't what most people want.
Special thanks to those of you who looked the story over to see if it wasn't too ludicrous for me to even bother with. You guys all rock.
Considering the week I'm having and the mood I'm in, this is just a great boost.
Hubby and I are going out for celabratory oysters, although he's such a sweetie that he called and told me we were going out for oysters before I knew I had anything to celebrate.
