Two quick items:

1. "Skilled Nursing Facility" is actually bullshit for Nursing Home. Complete with noisy neighbor blasting the TV. I talk to one of they nurses and they made him turn it down. He's probably deaf and can't hear the damn thing and he hates my guts, but I was ready to commit mayhem, so I didn't care.

Hubby knows he's going to be there at least a week, so he's making the best of it and still kind of in and out on meds, but for me to go there after a day at the DOD and dealing with Psycho-sis, it was too much. We did settle down with the laptop and some QI. (Thanks again, Hedghog)

Then I came home and watched some of the convention. Teddy Kennedy!!!! Whooo hoooooo! I worked on the 1980 campaign and once ran under a police barricade in Maywood, NJ to shake his hand, and then did it again in 1988 when he did a Dukakis rally at Mission High.

Michelle Obama was OK, but the kiddie stuff isn't all that touching to me.

2. Problem Child Client #1 is at it AGAIN. He says I'm being "un-cooperative" because I'm insisting on going through the proper procedures to try and get him upgraded instead of just costing the company $3000.00 for a business class ticket on firm travel, which is what he wants.

He's also bitching about the hotel. Yes, the New York Palace does cost $700.00 per night for a King Tower room in August. He keeps saying, he can call someone and get a better rate. If so, be my guest, but the sales rep has promised me this won't happen.

*****

I'm starving, but I want to go to the gym.
