Tomorrow is my birthday...

My gift fic to the F-list will be the latest RPS installment of my Hugh Laurie/Robert Sean Leonard saga. I realize this isn't much of a gift to those of you with a deeply held squick about either the genre or the pairing, but I'm passionate about the stories and incredibly proud of the work I've done on this one with the help of beta_goddess

I know I've acquired some new friends since the last time around, so I invite you to join my wonderful world of Hugh & Bobby.

Wrap Party Originally posted: January 30, 2006
It all started with an image in my mind: Hugh Laurie playing piano on the House apartment set, singing Noel Coward songs and Robert Sean Leonard listening to him.

I don't THINK I had intended to write a series. I hate series, multi-parters, WIPs etc. But there was more story to tell and I couldn't stop myself. One of the best endings to a story I've ever written, and it's only there because Beta Goddess Carol sent it back over and over again, until I came up with something that made us both cry.

Short fic written in a burst of inspiration after seeing Robert Sean Leonard in the PBS American Master's program about Eugene O'Neill.

Heat Wave Originally posted July 4, 2006.

This is the one that caused the famous WANK at house_wilson. I posted the damn thing and woke up to find a rather contentious situation had broken out. I was stunned only because I'd posted all the previous chapters at the comm with little to no brou-ha-ha.
Inspired by an interview given by Robert Sean Leonard, as well Hugh's interview on Inside the Actor's Studio.

My first attempt at writing Stephen's POV, which I think has been one of the more controversial aspects of the series. I also had a lot of fun writing Ethan. One of my schmoopier endings.

A Fry-wank story written as part of the mmom challenge. Fits into the continuity of the Hugh&Bobby-verse.

Things get seriously epic and I take the risk of writing Gaby's POV, as well as Hugh, Bobby, & Stephen. Name dropping, cameo appearences and Marianne Faithful singing Noel Coward.
