Thanksgiving 2008

I'm not gonna go all mushy and Kumbaya cos that ain't me. (As you may have noticed, I'm a troll.) Also, I'm feeling blah and congested again, and it's cold and gloomy out and I got into the sugar so I'm full of self-hatred. At least we are off the hook for seeing Psycho-sis today. It's just me and hubby, hanging out and I'll cook a chicken later. Plan for today is mostly to work on yuletide fic and a few other projects. Maybe do some picking up and straightening out.

I am thankful that hubby and I have more or less survived the accident and the recovery without killing each other.

Thankful for my LJ and on-line friends who help me get through every day. I hope you all know who you are, but I will give a special shout-outs to hllangel for her endless supply of John Barrowman pictures on days when the Desk is especially Doomy and to beta_goddess, not just for being an awesome beta (although she is) but for being an amazing, loving friend and Housefrau and sharing my specific Torchwood sandbox.

I'm grateful to be living in San Francisco.

I'm ecstatic that Obama won the election.

And I'm thrilled that I'll be heading to the UK to see John in Panto, Burn in Oliver and many of YOU, my beautiful F-listers in the flesh.
