There Will Be Pimping-It's All About Me! Special Holiday Vortex Post

Hey guys!

I wrote a lot of fic in December. Gifts, consci_fan_mo, obsessive canon-subversion, and just a shit-load of creativity.

A lot of you were busy. Tired. Away. Too frazzled to do anything, but work on your own fic. Etc etc etc. So you might have missed something. Or just not had the time or energy. (Or you thought it sucked and didn't want to say so.)

It's never too late to read, comment and pimp.

So here are some highlights of December in all it's Fictacular Glory.

Thanks again to mad_jaks for sponsoring consci_fan_mo which kicked off the month, and to donutsweeper for inspiring me with her Owen fic, which got me started.

Lost Art
Fandom: Torchwood
Owencentric drabble. I loved the response to this one.

Demon Lover
Drabble
Fandom: Heroes
Pairing: Nathan/Mohinder

*****

Jack/Owen smut/angst extravaganza

Forgotten Words and Bonds
Wordcount: 1200
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/Owen
Rating: NC17-Post ep for They Keep Killing Suzie
This is the only fic I really intended to write for consci_fan_mo, and yeah it's canon-subversive IF you really think a stop-watch was what Jack needed after that episode.

A Place to Hide Away
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/Owen
Rating: R
Post ep for Adrift.
More angst and some psuedo-canon suberversion, if you really believe in "clinging for hours."

Other TW/Who-verse fics

Your Mission, Should You Decide To Accept It
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairing: Jack/John
Christmas gift for kohlrimmedeye. Definitely fell into the vortex and I'm still waiting for it to clear moderation queue at roguetimeagents
Rating: R
Wordcount: 1125

Intervention
Fandom: Torchwood
Pairings: Jack/Ianto (canon), Jack/Gwen (ambiguous) Jack/Suzie (implied)
Rating: PG13
Wordcount: 450
An attempt at truce after some harsh rhetoric.

John Barrowman/David Tennant RPS

Hooray For Hollywood-
Wordcount:1630
Rating: NC17

This one is still feeling kind of lonely. :(
Written for everyone who wanted to know what actually happened between John and David after opening night of Hamlet and also to account for certain events at the Hub. This may be the end of the line for this particular RPS pairing, so it gets a bit angsty and Captain Jack makes an appearance as the Voice of Reason.

House MD

Tchatchkes

Wordcount: 100
Pairing: Wilson/Drug Rep (mentioned in Love Hurts)
Written for ppth_support

Santa's Helper
Characters: Cam-centric, references to H/W friendship.
Rating: G
Wordcount: 620
Notes: Missing scene for "Joy To the World." Written to resolve an unacceptable plot point.

*****

Life On Mars
Comfort and Joy
Pairings: Sam/Annie, Sam/Gene
Rating: NC17
Wordcount: 2475
Birthday/Christmas Present for candesgirl
One reason I love the LOM fandom, where Het and Gen can co-exist peacefully, even when there's canon on one side and serious subtext on the other.

yuletide Fics

All About Rachel
Punditslash/Journalist RPF. Includes Keith/Stephen, Keith/Anderson, Keith/Rachel, and even Rachel/Ana Marie plus appearances by other pundits and journalists.

Written for Propaganda

Scratching An Itch
RPF-Quite Interesting. Stephen Fry/Alan Davies, includes references to Hugh Laurie.
Written for Propaganda

Tennis Prose
Posh Nosh-I know it's an itsy-bitsy little fandom, but I had a blast writing it. If you don't know, Jose Luis is a very young David Tennant.

Written for irmelin

The Last Temptation of DCI Bell
State of Play-Character study of DCI Bell looking at the reporters and other characters, especially Della.

Written for elishavah

One more reminder-Yuletide readers-there is something that all four of these fics have in common. Tell me what it is and you will receive a drabble or longer if your prompt inspires me.
