I'm very torn about whether I want to download either the new episodes of Ashes to Ashes or John Barrowman's new show. Obviously I want to see both, but I'm trying to be good about NOT getting the laptop all clogged up again. I guess the Barrowmania is in abeyance due to my feelings about Ego-fest and how much of Alex Drake am I willing to put up with to get my dose of the Gene Genie?

I don't have much to say about Aliens vs Monsters....
Hugh Laurie makes one darned adorable cockroach. Other than I wasn't madly impressed the plotting (how the hell did she get off the ship after the door was closed?), the animation, yeah the Golden Gate Bridge scene was well done, but in general the sense of perspective as to what was big and what was really big had me totally confused. It took me awhile to realize that Dr. Cockroach and Link weren't itsty bitsy and were presumably human or bigger sized.
Stephen Colbert was awesome as the President, and I did like what they did with the music in that scene. Bonus points for Keifer Sutherland, being willing to lampoon himself a little.

Meanwhile over on Bones...STEPHEN FRY!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! This was just...I'd been wondering how they were going to handle the inevitable Gordon/Sweets situation. I knew there had to be some kind of a smack-down where Gordon showed his superior insight into Booth and Brennan's relationship, but I'm glad they gave the opportunity to work well together after that.
I'm generally not a big fan of the tragic childhood reveal (Kutner, I'm looking at you) but I was willing to lay down arms and cynicism and just go with this, especially when I got Stephen as Glam Rock guy in the bargain.
PLEASE FIND A WAY FOR GORDON TO KEEP CONSULTING! Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease. :)
I love Stephen in Jeeves, in Boffle, in QI, in almost everything, but I reallyreally love Gordon Gordon.
By the way...are they EVER going to deal with Hodgins waking up in the desert with the tattoo on his arm or was that just a hallucination? WTF?
At least Cam's insta-kid adoption plot seems to have disappeared.

Heat wave is now in it's third day. I'm carrying my leather jacket because I KNOW the fog could come in at any time and I don't want to be caught freezing when it happens.
