You can't win!

Admin calls to see if I can change client to Virgin America flight tomorrow at 530PM instead of Weds at 730AM. I ask if I should do it whatever the cost. She says to find out how much. Keep in mind the guy is flying First Class anyway, and hold times for Virgin are nearly 10 minutes. I call, and it's available and it's only $215.00 more. The hotel he's staying at is $395.00 per night. I figure he wants to come home and the difference in fare is less than another night at the hotel. I try calling the admin, and she's not answering. I leave a message saying I'm going ahead.

I go ahead. She calls and I tell her I've gone ahead, explaining my rationale. She says ok. Calls back 2 minutes later. He said to hold off.

Now I have to spend another ten minutes waiting to get through to Virgin American, change it back and hope it's not going to cost even more to get the space back.

I really, really hate this job.

This is all happening at the end of the day, so I'm not getting out of here to spend time with hubby up at the nursing facility.
