I hate being the international desk

Seriously. Domestic travel is bad enough, but the potential for screwing up on an international itinerary is much greater with far worse consequences. Twenty years in this business and I've never been particularly good at international. So what am I doing today? You got it. Three of them. Paris, London, St. Petersburg etc etc.

Here's an interesting travel tidbit. The three letter city code for St. Petersburg is LED. As though the place were still called Leningrad. Similarly Beijing is PEK and Ho Chi Minh City is SGN. Governments may change, but airline codes are forever.

Warm fuzzies from the Pit of Voles (of all places.)

Eleven review alerts and eleven "favorite stories" alerts. Someone has just discovered my Torchwood fic (and some of my Who-fic) over at Fanfiction.net and seems to like it. A lot. And very much agrees with my assessment of the Anti-ship, although she does feel sorry for Ianto in some of my stories. At no point, does she think my characterizations are wrong or accuse me of bashing.

We are not alone!
