There's got to be a morning after...

My arms are a little ouchy today, following yesterdays workout. Which should tell you how long it's been since I did anything with the weights.

Walked to work this AM and timed it at about 1:13. That's with no effort at velocity whatsoever, so I think I can pick up a little speed on that.

I was considering doing Race For The Cure, but money's a little tight right now, and their website isn't making it easy to sign up. I can't even figure out how much it would cost, but a chip-timed 5-K isn't exactly cost-effective. It is a great cause, so if you're inclined, please go over and make a donation.

This means I'm probably going to do Bridge To Bridge, which is inevitably run on a brutally hot day. I'm going to do it because...I need inspiration.

I'm STILL trying to get some serious sugar-free time under my (ahem) belt. Today is day three, which is usually the make or break day for this kind of thing. The day my head comes up with all kinds insane bullshit as to why I shouldn't put myself through this, or how I can eat sugar today and stop tomorrow...you know, addict talk.

I need to kick the sugar again for a zillion reasons, on top of which Halloween IS coming up and my costume will look a lot better if there's less of me in it.
