House Babble for Instant Karma

House party attended by michelleann68, evila_elf, hllangel, and a splendid time was had by all, especially laying bets on who did what to whom.

How much do I love them using that title, especially since John Lennon's bday was on the 9th?

FCC AGAIN! House being House AGAIN! An interesting case--more so than last week. NO TAUB--again. Thirteen, but NOT in the actual plot, and seriously---did she have one likeable moment? Not really. (The scene with the cab driver was repellent. There was no other way to do that exposition? Really?)

I felt so bad for RSL having to mouth that shit about Thirteen being "good" for House. And House "needing" Thirteen. Rubbish. I don't think even RSL could sell that. The ONLY part that made sense was the idea that she hadn't been drawn into the "House Vortex," which is important ONLY because it made clear that Wilson was.

In H/W land...Wilson in only a few minutes, but all of illuminating that H/W is the precarious, banter/blowjobs, but still angsty place I insist it is. House is "trying" to have relationships. NOT succeeding, huh Wilson. And this week, all of sudden we see House sleeping on the couch, after they go out of their way two weeks ago to make it pretty clear they're sharing the bed. What the hell was that about.

This was also a banner week for Chase/Foreman shippers, because Jesse and Omar were TEARING IT UP together. And with the right balance and chemistry back in place, all of a sudden, Foreman isn't a dick anymore.

Patient's father was cool UNTIL he went all "It's my fault," and then he lost me, although I LOVE that House did the deal and got some of the $$$$$. (Is the house we saw at the end the one that he and Wilson are going to get together?)

Shallow stuff:

Who the hell did Jennifer Morrison piss off in the costume department? It was like a "greatest hits of her ugliest costumes from the past five years." Bat wings. Turtle necks. Lacey vests. Blech. Blech. Blech. I thought she was going to hurt someone with those eyelashes and to top it off, we're not allowed to see what she's wearing to bed?

Cuddy-lots of ass close ups. Hooker clothes and at least one scene where I was positive those puppies were gonna fall right out of her blouse.

But, back to the happy dance. Taub is still gone. Thirteen is on a plane. (Although I know planes fly two ways.) Jesse and Jen and Omar are acting their little hearts out, and House is sleeping on the couch at Wilson's place. (Which doesn't mean they're NOT having sex, only that there's drama and angst playing out too.)

And the kid didn't die.

There was even a little fanservice for the House/Chase gang. (I love it when Chase plays with the ball.)

Life. Is. Good.
