So I went to the gym this AM and got my new gym card and worked out. Even bought some food so I wouldn't just sit here in a hypoclycemic stupor till lunch. Things were gonna be hunky-dory today.
Then my husband called. Remember when I lost my cell-phone a few weeks ago? I was so utterly convinced it had to turn up or that I'd left it in a taxi-cab and would have it returned from their lost and found? Due to this conviction, as well as my habitual sloth and general unwillingness to deal with most of the details of real life, I never called in to have the number suspened. Two days later, I got my new phone and the old cell was discontinued.
Those of you living in the real world already know the punch line to this story.
T-Mobile bill-$1100.00. Calls to (wait for it) IRAQ. Contract says-you don't call it in, you're responsible.
Not having such a good day all of a sudden.
