What is it about English actors doing American accents?

Anybody else hooked on The Riches yet? I've always loved Eddie Izzard's stand up and thought he was awesome in various movies, but he is absolutely amazing in this role.

Not quite Hugh-level hotness, but serious yummy-tude.
