This time it’s real.
He’s lost Nathan before; to the military, to women, to their father’s twisted ambitions and to what appeared to be death at Peter’s own hands. Never before has he felt so utterly alone and empty.
There’s only so much mourning he can do alone, but the idea of talking to anyone is more than he bear.
He goes to Emma’s apartment, and she lets him in; offering him her silence along with her ability, so he can see the bitter blues and grays that she coaxes out of her piano.
A fitting tribute to Nathan Petrelli.
