I have issues!

So depending on your age it's either Little Big Man or Dances With Wolves or Pocahontas, only this time the Indians get together with the buffalo to beat the cavalry, which is emotionally satisfying, but also manipulative and highly unlikely.

I have no quibble with the technical stuff. That was all absolutely gorgeous and Squeeeee-worthy, but in showing how much better the natives were than the evil white people, I got the feeling we were heading into "Noble Savage" territory and my "unfortunate implications" meter was pinging quite a bit.

I love and will always love Sigourney Weaver, but I had to laugh at the artfully placed foliage they put on to keep from having to show her body.

Giovanni Ribisi was good, but he's no Paul Reiser, even though he had Reiser's part from Aliens.

It was entertaining, exhausting, and disturbing if you spend too much time putting the analytical brain to work on it.
