I was in Haiti once....

Very long time ago. Mid-70's. I was on a cruise with my family, and back then Port Au Prince was once of the main ports of call for most the cruise ships doing the Caribbean. I'm assuming it would have been when Baby Doc was in power. We weren't there very long, maybe just a few hours, and even then, I knew this wasn't a good place.

Since then, obviously I've learned all the history and learned why and how things got that way.

Just when you think it's impossible for Pat Robertson to top his disgusting comments after 9/11...

My thoughts and heart goes out to the people of Haiti.
