Crosstown Traffic

In other words: congestion. Lots and lots of it, mostly in my chest and throat.

I went to the gym and attempted to steam some of it out, and then hit Walgreens for a large purchase of cough syrup and cough drops. I'll also be sucking down the mint tea big time.

Speaking of Mint...since the coughing had started in full force by the end of work yesterday, I skipped the fundraiser, not wanting to share whatever germs I'm harboring with a large group of people. (I'm selfish that way.)

Tivo didn't actually get most of the speech, but I got the gist from the coverage on MSNBC before and after. More on that later. Maybe.

This is NOT going to be a fun day. I've got a bunch of international stuff in the works and it's all a recipe for disaster. I DID manage to get that waiver yesterday cause I'm just that good, but the fact that we had to get it at all is a bad thing. Of course if my clients would actually read their damn itineraries, but I suppose that's too much to ask for.

I'll be busy coughing for the rest of the day.
