Last day of vacation

So far so good. I've been to the gym and done a lot of walking. Laundry has gone out and come in. Dishes were done. Lots of progress on the NOVEL. Chapter 8 is definitely shaping up to be a roller-coaster of revelations that push the plot forward.

My mission for today is to go to the DMV and get a new state ID. My old one expired. IN 2008!!! I've been reluctant to give it up, since it's the best picture I've ever had on an ID. I need to make sure the hair looks good and put on a bit of make-up before I go.

Maybe afterwards I'll walk up to Haight St. and have a little splurge at Amoeba records.
