I really don't have a lot to say, except I'm happy to see that Doctor Smith seems to have gotten over his Rose-mope (and various other man-pain issues.) He looks ready to have some fun, and Amy looks like the right girl for him to have it with.
Moff knows how to introduce characters and he knows how to do suspense, even if I did expect at least one of the coma patients to ask for Mummy.
It all worked for me. That's really all I can say right now. I think RTD is a genius, but the darkness and anvil-message dropping got a bit too heavy in the last season. If we go 13 episodes without a single "_________ IS BAD" show, I'll be a happy, happy girl.
I really hope Rory isn't about to get "Micky-ized," especially since Hubby is a nurse, so he's obviously relating to the guy already. Also happy that we might be getting away from RTD's issues with mothers.
And please Moff, please please please, in the next series...Please let Jack meet the New Doctor.
So far I'm not getting any major ship-vibes for the new Series, but my Jack/Doctor ship transcends regeneration. Jack will love the Doctor because he's the Doctor, not because of what he looks like.
BTW---who the hell is doing the narration for Confidential? Yeah, I know it's Alex Price...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Price, but who the hell is that? I want Anthony Head or Simon Pegg back. *POUTS*
