11. Who is your favorite character to write? Least favorite?
Favorite:
Fanfic: Greg House. I love him and I love writing him, especially at his most bitter and snarky. (Runner up-Jools Siviter)
Original: I have an abiding fondness for the protagonist of my unsold novel, "Hooray From West Hollywood." Another one of my smart, funny, fucked up amateur sleuths. This one was a failed actress working as a phone sex operator, dating a gay-for-pay porn star, and living in West Hollywood with her hair-dresser best friend.
Least favorite:
Fanfic: Keeping with the Hugh Laurie theme, I'd say I have a really hard time with Bertie Wooster, because the language is so particular AND I have to keep his general cluelessness in mind. Very difficult combination.
Original: Why would be I writing an original character that I didn't like writing? Those people are in my books and stories because I can have fun with them.
