21. Do any of your characters have children? How well do you write them?
I don't like children. I don't want to have them. I have virtually no interest in them and I certainly wouldn't want to write about them. I doubt I would do it particularly well. I think there were some kids in the 3rd Marti Hirsch novel, but I've honestly forgotten most of that and I'm sure they were the least convincing characters in the whole book, which is saying a lot.
I'm trying to think if any of my Fanfic characters have children...I guess Jack does, but not in a way that would ever require me to write them. Alex on Ashes to Ashes talks about Molly almost nonstop, but she's not really THERE when I'm writing Alex in 1981. I once wrote a Cuddy Baby fic, which was pure crack. In fact, the Baby Plot has made Cuddy a nearly completely useless character to me.
Why don't you ask me about puppies? I like puppies.
