24. How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it? What's the most interesting way you've killed someone?
I'm less willing to kill canon characters in fanfic. The only two that spring to mind are killing Gwen, which was basically to make Ianto even more miserable because of how much Jack would mourn and idealize her and I once killed Cameron in a H/W angst fic. It didn't leave H/W together for long, but I was kind of grossed out by how many people were really happy I'd done it and practically gloated over how little House seemed to care.
Since I write murder mysteries, I've obviously killed a lot of people, especially those who've managed to piss me off or annoy me. You know, that old Texas expression: He needed killing.
Somehow I've managed to forget the exact methods of demise, although I don't think any of them were especially interesting. I used to be fascinated with the idea that you could lick a candy cane to a point and then somehow use it to stab someone in the jugular and kill them, but I'm pretty sure that if you got the candy pointy enough it would be too fragile to break the skin. (Maybe Mythbusters could test this out for me?)
